Thanksgiving part 1: The Parade

We headed south several hours to my sister's house for Thanksgiving. We chose the right week, because we had a freak freeze here in The Swamp. It was much nicer at Maryann's house.
On Thanksgiving morning, we decided to walk about a mile to a fun park.
We looked like a parade, with 7 kids, 4 adults, a dog, a wagon and a stroller.
Even Chris had fun at the park. I never knew he had so many skills.
Then Ethan got kicked in the head when he was on the bottom of the spinny thing, and Ashley was on top.

Chris insisted I get a picture of my mad playground skills, too. I love being dizzy.
It was a great way to start off Thanksgiving.
The kids were happy to run around the playground for several hours, burn off some energy and get ready for the multi-cultural feast Clark prepared for us. We had Indian food (not to be confused with native american food...), with naan and all. It was delicious, and a nice change of scenery from turkey and stuffing.
