Our village had a fun little party this afternoon. The kids wrote letters to Santa and ate a few treats.
Then Santa showed up! Josh was a little worried because he came in a golf cart and not a sled.
I guess that's how Santa travels in the swamp.
Josh was also concerned that Santa was wearing sunglasses and had a funny laugh.
Before he sat on Santa's lap, Josh looked at me and said, "Who is that guy?"
I guess Josh told Chris this wasn't really Santa, but he was close enough,
because everyone wanted to sit on his lap.
Instead of candy canes, Santa gave everyone a wrapped present.
Josh and Ethan got swords, and Ashley got a paint-by-numbers kit.
